You can help the Joplin Humane Society care for the 8,000+ animals that come through our door each year, by sponsoring a kennel!
Joplin Humane Society's Kennel Sponsorship program provides a great opportunity for families, private organizations, and businesses to directly support the animals we care for daily. Individuals, groups, or companies can sponsor a dog kennel or cat condo for 12 months, and that contribution will help ensure that each animal housed at JHS receives nourishment, shelter, and medical care while they are with us.
Annually, JHS spends $890,000+ to provide care for the homeless animals of the four-states housed at our shelter, and we rely on donations to help us cover these costs. In return for your Kennel Sponsorship, not only will you receive the reward of knowing you helped animals in need, but you will also receive the following recognition:
In addition, if you provide us with an email address, JHS will quarterly email you an update on the animal(s) occupying your kennel, including how many have been adopted during those three months. Your sponsorship donation will cover EVERY animal who is housed in your kennel for one year. The Joplin Humane Society currently has 100 kennels/condos available for sponsorship with fees as follows:
A Kennel Sponsorship is a great way for local companies to receive public recognition for their support of the shelter. The Joplin Humane Society is open 7 days a week, 358 days a year. On average, 75+ individuals visit our shelter each day, equating to 2,250+ visitors per month, or 27,000+ per year. Think of all those people seeing your business’ logo and knowing that your company helps animals in need.
Kennel Sponsorships are also a wonderful way to pay tribute to a beloved person(s) or pet(s). Sponsorships can be made in memory or honor of a loved one or pet(s). This program represents a great opportunity for pet parents to help homeless animals find their very own loving, life-long homes.

- Highly visible, personalized color sign acknowledging your sponsorship hung above/on your sponsored kennel. These signs can be personalized with your name, your company’s name or in memory/honor of a beloved family member/friend or cherished pet.
- Special mention in our end of the year mailing, reaching 3,000+ individuals and families throughout the community.
- Acknowledgement as a Kennel Sponsor on our website, joplinhumane.org.
