The Shelter Pals Reading program at the Joplin Humane Society will help children improve their reading skills while helping shelter animals. Shelter Pal Readers and a parent/guardian must attend a special training event. There is a $10 fee per child that goes towards the cost of program supplies. All fees are due prior to the training event.
