This sweet older lady is seeking a nice quiet place to call her fur-ever home. Dixie is a 10 yr old female Mountain Cur. She has a medium energy level. She comes when called, but likes to do her own thing when not interacting with her person. Dixie does pull on a leash, but this can be resolved with obedience training. She is food motivated, and knows the commands "sit" and "shake." She is a little shy around new dogs, but gets along with them in a kennel, and is indifferent towards cats in the shelter environment. Due to her anxiety level, we recommend she go to a home with children 8 yrs and older.
