Xena is a 4-5 yr old boxer mix. She comes when called but will not stay next to her person. She likes to give gentle kisses. Xena is high energy so this gal would need plenty of playtime and exercise! she pulls on a leash but with some basic obedience training, this could easily be resolved. Xena is food motivated. She knows the "sit" and "down" command. We recommend older children 8 years and up. She is afraid of cats in a shelter atmosphere. Xena is RESCUE ONLY due to her anxiety. Dogs are generally tested with dogs of their own size; and dog meets with the resident dogs are always encouraged.
